Image Editor

In the past many of our clients have needed an image editing tool that could do 2 things; resizing and cropping.  For many of our clients they didn't want to invest in an elaborate tool such as Photoshop (which I personally adore), and some felt as though they didn't have the skill to learn how to use a more advanced tool either.  The Image Editor is a quick and easy tool that handles a few very basic photo editing needs.

  • cropping
  • resizing
  • changing an image to black & white or sepia
  • adding a white or black border to your image
  • flipping, rotating or mirroring your image
My favourite thing about this module: It is super simple to use.
Some customers that use this module: I don't know but it is included in the Essential Suite so it is available to everyone!
Industries that are well suited for this module: Anyone who isn't using professional images could benefit from this tool as it allows you to crop out distractions in your photos. The resizing is also very useful as it allows you to make an image smaller before you begin using it in the other [email protected] modules.  This helps with page loading times and your overall bandwidth and disk space usage.
Associated module group: Essential Suite
