The Lancaster Smokehouse, affectionately known as “The Lanc,” is a vibrant Southern-style barbecue restaurant located in Kitchener, Ontario. Housed in a restored 1840s railroad-hotel building, it opened in 2011 and quickly became a local favourite. With a spacious dining area and the upstairs Lanc Loft for private events, the restaurant combines rustic charm with live music and authentic Southern hospitality.
Its menu features slow-smoked meats like ribs, brisket, pulled pork and Nashville hot chicken, cooked low and slow over aged hickory.
