We love our team building at REM. Every 3 months we have a team meeting to discuss upcoming initiatives at REM. We all have a chance to contribute to the discussion. An import part of that day is our team building. We have enjoyed a variety of events over the past year. Below are a few.
In January we visited the Adventure Room where we split into teams and attempted to solve their puzzles. As you can see below, we had a great time.
In the summer we enjoyed a fun team based relay race that Jamie put together. It ended up as an unplanned water fight. Thankfully it was a nice warm day, so we could dry fast.
Last winter we had a creative event put together by Jamie that involved building a diorama that was designed to protect eggs from an attack from the other team.
Team building can offer many benefits. A few benefits that directly affected REM were improving morale, leadership skills and working together to solve problems. Our team building is designed for our staff to achieve and work toward our Guiding Principles. Thanks again to Jamie for his hard work making our team building fun and creative.
