Celebrating REM's 25th Anniversary with Holiday Ornament Art
This year marks an incredible milestone for REM Web Solutions: 25 years of teamwork, creativity and innovation. As we wrapped up another amazing year together, we wanted to do something that captured both the joy of the season and the pride we feel in reaching our Silver Jubilee. So, we kicked off a festive challenge: crafting Silver Jubilee Ornaments for our year-end celebration!
With silver disc ornaments as our base, everyone used their favourite supplies (paint, markers, glitter, stickers and more) to craft their creations on their own time. Even though we worked separately, the excitement was shared across the team as photos and progress updates started rolling in. What made this activity extra special was how personal and imaginative the results were. No two ornaments looked alike and each one reflected the unique style, humour and flair of its creator. It was a wonderful reminder that while we all bring different strengths and personalities to our work, together we shine even brighter.

A Festive Burst of Creativity

He painted a red station wagon hauling a tree with a quote from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Megan
She crafted hers with Santa Claus, gifts and Christmas trees in a red & white, sparkly background.
Todd
He drew the Customer Success Team with himself wearing a Santa hat and his colleague Colleen dressed up as Rudolf.
Christine
She drew and painted Ice Bear (from We Bare Bears) waving and saying, “Happy Holidays!”
Amanda
She drew Santa Claus and his sleigh flying over REM’s office.
Rob
He crafted his with a gold tree and black “merry and bright” design.
Anubha
She decorated her ornament with a holiday wreath, Santa Claus and a snowflake.
Colleen
She decorated hers with a QR code and quotes from the Grinch movie (2000) starring Jim Carrey.
Matt
He decorated his with “Happy Hanukkah,” dreidels and a menorah to honour his Jewish heritage.
Sean L.
He painted a snowy night scene with a tree decorated with yellow, blue and red lights and a star.
Jackie
She painted her three cats (Aloy, Ada and Miso) with the words “Merry X-Mas” in green and red.

He created a painting with silver, red and purple tones of a holiday village.

She drew and painted a very intricate and gorgeous red cardinal in snow.

She painted and drew the Grinch’s mischievous, smirking grin in all green.

She drew a Christmas tree scene with red and blue lights and presents.

He crafted a fancy snowflake on a sparkly blue background.

He drew a T-Rex trying desperately to put up a star on a Christmas tree.

He crafted a glittering gold “25” with stars surrounding it to celebrate REM’s 25 years.

She painted a wonderful holiday scene with the REM logo, saying “Sleighing the WEB since 2001. Happy 25th!!”
Shining Bright After 25 Years
The collection sparkled with humour, sentiment, imagination and artistry—much like our team itself. What started as a simple seasonal activity turned into a meaningful celebration of everything that makes REM special: our creativity, our collaboration and our ability to come together to make something wonderful.
As we celebrate our 25th Anniversary, we’re reminded of how far we’ve come and how much we’ve grown—not just as a company, but as a team who genuinely enjoys working together. This ornament project was the perfect way to wrap up the year and honour the journey we’ve shared.
