As I have blogged in the past.  I love roller coasters.  This summer, I made a trip to New Jersey's Six Flag's park, the home of Kingda Ka, the world's tallest and second fastest roller coaster.    This type of roller coaster is called a strata coaster.  Kingda Ka is 456 ft tall with a drop of 418 ft.  The craziest part is that is starts from a complete stand still and accelerates to 128 miles/hour (206 km/h) in 3.5 seconds reaching 5 Gs.  If you haven't tried a coaster like this, the experience is like nothing else.

The next aventure we are waiting for is the completion of the next record-breaker, called the Skyscraper, which is currently under construction in Orlando .  It is schelueded for completion in 2017.  Skycraper is a polercoaster, with the structure reaching a new world record of 700 ft.  It will also be the only coaster in the world to have the highest inversion, steepest drop at 123 degrees and have 2 beyond-vertical drops.

It makes you wonder, "What could they possibly come up with next?"
