In this post I want to take some time to tell you about our new event calendar module. It allows our clients to post events on a calendar for information purposes or for online registration and payment. It makes it very easy for our clients to control what they need to capture the important information when allowing for online registration.
You can see an example of the module in action at Maxey Family Adventures.
With this module you can create categories such as One Day Getaways or Multi Day Tours as seen in the Maxey example above. It also allows for event to be part of a series. The module shares features from the location module allowing a map to show where the event takes place automatically. Like our eCommerce module we have a promo code tool built in. This allows for various discounts to be applied when registering and paying for an event. There is also the ability to allow for meal choices if you event needs those options. You can create any choices you want for each event such as specific meal choices or generic such as vegetarian or none vegetarian.
This module has been popular as we are already rolling it out on a number of sites we are currently working on.
