Newsletters

I wrote a Blog posting about the Newsletter module roughly 1 year ago but I thought that I would write another since there have been many changes and improvements to this module now that WebWiz@rd 3 is here.

I primarily do all of the client training of the WebWiz@rd system, so of course if our client has the Newsletter module, I get to show them how the module works.  I've lost track of how many times our clients have said things like:

"I love that idea."

"Oh, that's great."

"I'm so glad it can do that now."

I completely agree with them and I am always excited to 'show off' this particular module.
My favourite thing about this module:

EVERYTHING!

  • The ability to add a new subscriber and edit all of your existing subscribers information.
  • The option of uploading and downloading a CSV of your subscriber list.
  • The capability of sorting your subscriber list by first name, last name, email address and date added.
  • The option of adding subscriber groups which allows you to make sure that only certain subscribers receive certain Newsletters.
  • The PREVIEW!  You can now preview your Newsletter straight in WebWiz@rd.
  • The ability to create a template and then, literally with the click of a button, start a brand new Newsletter using that template.

Industries that are well suited for this module: This module works particularly well for companies and organizations who offer sales and courses or classes.  It is also a great way to communicate details about upcoming events and fundraisers.
