Every designer has his/her own Design Resources they like to turn to when working on projects. The tools you use play a very important part in the result of the design. Sometimes just browsing the resources is all it takes to get some Creative juices flowing.
For myself I use a lot of websites that provide freebies such as icons, Textures and fonts. Below is only a small list of my go to resources that I am willing to reveal.
1. Adobe Kuler
Choosing a colour palette is one of the first and most essential steps in Web Design. Kuler takes out the guessing and provides stunning palettes that pop!
2. Subtle Patterns
This site provides free background patterns/textures that tile! With a simple click the site applies your chosen background to its on layout for you to preview. Genius.
3. Icon finder
Need an icon? Iconfinder has it. With a huge database of icons and easy search functionality I never have to spend more than a couple minutes to find the perfect icon I had in mind.
