Who else drinks coffee while they work? I agree; that was a loaded question. For me, waking up and brewing a large cup of coffee is one of the first things that crosses my mind in the morning. Sure, I have responsibilities and loved ones to think about, but coffee makes it SO MUCH EASIER to deal with all of that. Especially in the morning. Who am I kidding? Especially any time of day.
This year I am debating on upgrading to a Keurig 2.0 coffee machine. I currently have one of the previous generation models and although it still serves me very well (or rather, it serves coffee very well?), it's hard to avoid wanting to snap up the new machine and sell the previous version. I love coffee, and the Keurig really is the best thing since sliced bread for most coffee lovers.
Granted, I am NOT a coffee snob. Not even in the least. However, I have taken a recent liking to Starbucks' "Holiday Blend" this Winter season and I'm actually drinking some of that special brew as I type this very blog post, one late Monday evening. It tastes great and doesn't leave a bitter taste in my mouth. So, #Winning!
Do you have a favourite blend of coffee that you enjoy? Something local, perhaps? (If you're in the area around Brighton, Ontario any time, check out Lola Cafe's flavours. They're great!) Or do you like the mass-marketed coffee tins? Don't be shy; my go-to coffee has been Maxwell House's Dark Roast for many years now. It's only during the holidays that I tend to switch things up.
Coffee helps fuel my brain for coding. What does it do for you?
