REM is looking for a talented and competitive Business Development Representative that thrives in a competitive sales environment.

 

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, preparing introduction videos, working with channel partners, generating interest, and qualifying prospects.

  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • A post secondary education is highly valued.

Responsibilities

 

  • Use common software programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to create, edit, manage and share documents and information.
  • Learn and use internal project tracking system for data entry and upkeep of accurate customer records.
  • Maintain a positive spirit and embody our Guiding Principles in every interaction with our customers.
  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, video introduction emails, emails and networking.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Achieve quarterly goals.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects.

Compensation

 

  • Base Salary and Commission would range from $40,000 to $60,000 in year one with lots of potential growth.
