Customer Profile for July 2016

I want to thank everyone at REM for their hard work on the successful launch of St Jacob's new website.  Everyone on the REM team had a part in this project.  This new website turned out great.  The design is fun and easy to navigate.  There is an a new business directory that was built to help visitors find what they are looking for between the market and the village, quickly and easily.  The site was also updated to make it completely mobile friendly.

We enjoyed working the team at Mercedes Corp and appreciate their hard work on the project to make sure it was a successful launch.

Take a few minutes and visit the new website or better yet take a drive a check out all the fun things to do in St Jacobs this summer.

WebWiz@rd Training With Todd

Almost two weeks ago now REM hired another team member: Todd Hannigan!

Todd is REM's new Customer Success Manager and I have the pleasure of introducing him to the WebWiz@rd tools over the past few days.  Each day we have jumped into a new module (or two) and I have shown him the basic and more advanced features of our tools.  We still have a number of modules to cover, but I think that we have made great progress so far.

Todd is an active, engaged learner and I am confident that our clients are going to be very pleased with Todd's attention to detail, his eagerness to help and his personality!

The Road Ahead

the road ahead

I am excited to announce that my team has grown so strong with such a clear direction for our various projects that I am able to move on to new challenges outside of REM.

It was a fantastic 6 year journey that was filled with amazing accomplishments and many, many, many proud moments.

My connections with REM are still very deep, even as I move on to my new adventures and I am committed to making sure that everyone is carefully transitioned into the new normal.

I want to personally thank Rob Matlow for the opportunity he has provided me at REM, and the entire team for building such a strong and vibrant culture.

I look toward the road ahead and see great things.  I will fondly look toward the road behind and see the same.

Onward and Upward!

More team building at REM

We love our team building at REM.  Every 3 months we have a team meeting to discuss upcoming initiatives at REM.   We all have a chance to contribute to the discussion.  An import part of that day is our team building.  We have enjoyed a variety of events over the past year.  Below are a few.

In January we visited the Adventure Room where we split into teams and attempted to solve their puzzles.  As you can see below, we had a great time.

Adventure Room

In the summer we enjoyed a fun team based relay race that Jamie put together.  It ended up as an unplanned water fight.  Thankfully it was a nice warm day, so we could dry fast.

REM's Relay Race

Last winter we had a creative event put together by Jamie that involved building a diorama that was designed to protect eggs from an attack from the other team.

Protect The Egg

Team building can offer many benefits.  A few benefits that directly affected REM were improving morale, leadership skills and working together to solve problems.  Our team building is designed for our staff to achieve and work toward our Guiding Principles.  Thanks again to Jamie for his hard work making our team building fun and creative.

Our Updated Road Map Is Exciting

Technology Road Map Symbolism

"Technical Road Maps Are Never Done"

The calendar year has rolled over to 2016 and our latest quarterly general meeting has completed.

It is safe to say that our entire team is so overwhelmingly enthusiastic about our next set of technical objectives, that they are bursting to spill the beans.

"I Want To Spill The Beans Too"

But I can't....not yet.  Let's just say that our technical accomplishments of the past are about to give the REM team the tools to jump even farther ahead of our competition!

Stay tuned for more details....
