Your Email Settings

When setting up your email account on a new device, you will have to input the following settings:
 

SMTP - Outgoing Mail Server

Address

mail.yourdomain.com*

Port

587

Server requires authentication

POP3 - Incoming Mail Server

mail.yourdomain.com*

* Remember to substitute yourdomain.com with the domain name of your website (ie. remwebsolutions.com would be mail.remwebsolutions.com)
 

** Please use your email address and password as provided

 
   
 

 

 

Outlook 2010 Instructions

To add your email account to Outlook 2010 follow the below steps:

 

1. From the "File" menu select "Info" and then click  on "Account Settings"

2. In the new pop-up, click on "New"

3. Click on the button beside "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click "Next"

 

4. Click on the button beside "Internet E-mail" and click "Next"

 

5. Fill in the fields using your correct email settings, username, and password.

*Note: You can choose between a POP3 or IMAP account type

 

6. Click on "More Settings"

 

7. On the "Outgoing Server" tab check off the box beside "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and click on the button beside "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"

 

8. On the "Advanced" tab type the correct incoming and outgoing server port numbers (found in the "Your Email Settings" section above)

 

9. Click "OK" and "Next"

 

   
 

 

 

iPhone Instructions (iOS 8)

To add your email account to your iPhone with iOS 8 follow the below steps:

 

1. Tap on the "Settings" icon from your home screen

2. Tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"

3. Tap "Add Account" under "Accounts"

 

4. Tap "Other" at the bottom of the list

 

5. Tap "Add Mail Account" under "Mail"

 

6. Fill in the fields using your account information

7. Tap "Next"

 

8. Select "IMAP" or "POP" at the top of the screen

 

9. Fill in the in incoming and outgoing mail server fields*

10. Tap "Next"

 

11. If you see a pop-up that says "Cannot connect using SSL" - tap "Yes"

 

*The User Name and Password in the "Outgoing Mail Server" fields are not optional 

   
 

 

 

BlackBerry Instructions (OS 10)

To add your email account to your BlackBerry with OS 10 follow the below steps:

 

1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top and tap "Settings"

2. Tap "Accounts"

 

3. Tap "Add Account"

 

4. Tap "Email, Calendar, and Contacts"

 

5. Type in your email address

 

6. Tap "Advanced" at the bottom of the screen

7. Tap either "IMAP" or "POP" depending on the type of account you want to create

 

8. Fill in the fields with your account settings (found in the "Your Email Settings" section above) and select your sync interval

 

9. Tap "Done"

 

   
 

 

 

Android Instructions (Lollipop OS)

To add your email account to your Android with Lollipop OS follow the below steps:

 

1. From the home screen, tap the "Gmail" icon

2. Tap the menu icon in the top left

3. Tap the down arrow beside your username

 

4. Tap "Add Account"

 

5. Tap "Personal (POP, IMAP)"

 

6. Tap "OK"


7. Type your email address

 

8. Tap "Manual Setup"

 

9. Type the correct incoming settings (found in the "Your Email Settings" section above) and tap "Next

 

10.Type the correct outgoing settings (found in the "Your Email Settings" section above) and tap "Next"

 

11. Follow any on-screen instructions and tap "Done"
